Glynn Edward Graham

Glynn was graduated from French High School in Beaumont, Texas and entered the Navy at age 17 in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he was stationed and honorably discharged. .

In 1966, he became the fifth person hired at Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Houston, Texas. He started the Anheuser- Busch Credit Union. He remained a Charter Member of Teamsters Local 919 and served in a variety of capacities throughout his tenure. He had many friends throughout his career.

Glynn was the father of three children Amy (Graham) Krieg and Lyle Edward Graham and Molly (Graham) Minze.

On May 10, 1971 he married Cynthia (Cindy) Poe. They were married for 49 years, and she was the love of his life.

Glynn was a craftsman woodworker. His projects ranged in scale from whittling small crosses to refinishing a wood boat and and Amish-style pie safe.

After retirement, he and Cindy found a spiritual home at St John's Methodist in Richmond, Texas where they attended bible study classes, regular service and made lifelong friends.

Glynn always took pride in supporting his family including his wife, children and grandsons. He was a true provider at heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and Marvin Graham, his sister Patsy (Graham) Carpenter and wife Cynthia (Poe) Graham.

Survived by daughter Amy (Graham) Krieg, son Lyle Edward Graham and daughter Molly (Graham) Minze and husband Cody Lynn Minze, grandsons Collin Edward Graham, Max Graham, Ace Maclane Minze and Luke Graham Minze.

The family is eternally grateful for the kind caregivers at Brookdale Sugar Land, the supportive members of St John’s Methodist Church in Richmond Texas, and Fairmont Hospice. Donations may be made to St John’s Methodist Church in lieu of flowers.

A visitation for Glynn will be held Monday, September 23, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Davis Greenlawn Cemeteries, 3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
