I never had the pleasure of meeting Gretchen, but I feel as if we were friends.  Shelley spoke of Gretchen  often with such love that I grew to love her too.  What a beautiful, courageous lady Gretchen was!  

I hope you find comfort in knowing that Gretchen touched the lives of others that never met her in a very unique way.

Gretchen, I have never met such an amazing, strong, courageous, kind, sweet and generous person, as you.  I will miss you so much!!  My condolences and prayers go out to Craig, your 2 beautiful children, and all the rest of your family.  My prayers also go out to your many, many, many friends, who like me are broken hearted yet are relieved your suffering is over and you are in God's beautiful paradise, at a beach laughing, running and dancing.  I will miss you so much and I love you sweet Gretchen!
