Jacqueline “Jackie” Storey-Erskine passed away surrounded by family at Kindred Hospital on 10-11-2018 in Sugar Land, Texas at the age of 70. Jackie had been suffering from numerous health issues over the last several years but is now at peace with our lord and savior.. Jacqueline was born on 2-29-1948 in Tyler, Texas to Jack Mickey Storey and Geneva Vasquez Storey. She is preceded in death by her father Jack and mother Geneva. Jackie is survived by her husband Rodney Erskine, son Robert Michael Erskine, brother Danny Storey, and Granddaughter Lauren Erskine. She graduated from Van High School in Texas in 1966. She married Rodney Erskine in Van, Texas in December of 1966. She and Rod spent the next 52 years working with numerous different oil & gas related companies over most of the US and much of the world. This entailed 27 moves and the ownership of 17 different houses. Jackie became an outstanding decorator resulting in a nice profit on the 17 homes and numerous job offers from decorating companies. She had an outstanding personality and built close relationships with numerous people in all walks of life from field workers to Presidents and CEO’s of numerous oil field companies. She and Rod co-founded Erskine Energy in 2004. Jackie was very proud of her family and was at her happiest when spending time with them. She has always been very active in numerous charities over the years with particular emphasis on Child Advocates of Fort Bend. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 13th from 4:00 -8:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas. The funeral is scheduled for Sunday October 14th at 2:00 PM with a reception to follow at First United Methodist Church, 3900 Lexington Blvd., Missouri City, Texas. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Monday October 15th at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, Texas.
