In the early morning hours of October 4, 2012, the Lord mercifully bestowed Janet Elaine Glasgow refuge in his kingdom from her tragic battle with pancreatic cancer. Loving wife to Terry and dedicated mother to Marshall and Matthew, she passed peacefully, surrounded by those whom she dearly loved. She is survived by her mother, Peggy Laney of Midland; siblings Jatonne Echeverria and John Laney; sisters-in-law, Teresa Shumskie and Hollye Laney and brother-in-law, Larry Echeverria. Janet adored her many nieces and nephews: Heather Burnett, Tyler and Wesley Shumskie, Preston and Hannah Laney. En lieu of flowers, the family requests condolences be donated in her name to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PFLAG or a foundation of your choosing. Visitation will occur between 4 and 6 PM at Settegast-Kopf Co. on Sunday with a memorial service to follow Monday at 11 AM at Christ United Methodist Church in Sugar Land.
