

JANICE KAY HALEY, was called to be with her Lord on November 27th 2012. Her test has ended and she is now shopping at the antique stores in heaven. The majority of her career was spent serving the people of Harris County, TX, while employed at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and, upon retiring, moved out of the city to their ranch house to live a quieter life. She was an expert cook, accomplished baker, great listener, and world’s best grandmother.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Don Haley; father, Norman Rawlings; her mother, Leone Rawlings (Jeffres); sister, Marcia Rawlings; daughter, Terra Haley; son, Brett Haley; and grandson, Darren Haley.
She is survived by her brother, Jeffrey Rawlings; grandsons, Joshua Haley, Jason Haley, and Brandon Haley; granddaughters, Lindsey Haley (Fitzgerald), and Brittany Haley; and great-grandchildren, Cody Haley, Peyton Haley, Terra Rose Haley, Teagan Hayden, and Sklya Haley.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 7, 2012, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, (Williams Trace Exit), with the Rev. M. Eugene Vickrey, officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM, at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 9175 FM 1371, Chappell Hill, TX.
