On, Wednesday, June 27, 2018, Janie Lara Sepulveda passed away surrounded by family in Houston, Texas at the age of 81. Born on June 12, 1937 in Vasqueros, Nuevo Leon, she was the daughter of the late Epifanio Lara and Petra Espinosa Lara. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Sepulveda and great-grandchild, Dante Sepulveda. Janie is survived by her siblings Chano, Angel, Juan, Carlos, Felipa; her children Lynda, Ramon Jr., Richard, David (Peggy); her grandchildren Eric, Pandora, Savannah, Marie, Vikki, Edward, Ramon III, Richard Neal, Tyler, Alexandra; and her great-grandchildren Rayne, Ezra, Cian, Elijah, Rylan, Idalia. She graduated from Wharton Country Junior College in 1960 with an Associate in Arts. She married Ramon Sepulveda on February 11, 1961. Our family wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and excellent care our mother received from each doctor and nurse. Visitation will be held at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek located at 15015 SW Frwy, Sugar Land, TX, 77478, on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 5-8pm with a rosary from 5:30-6:30pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church located at 5430 W. Ridge Creek Dr., Houston, TX, 77053, on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10am, with interment at Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX, 77038.

Hello my beautiful ROSE , while you were here I managed to take memories of your progress. Also might I add that I am grateful to have met such a beautiful spirit. God oh how I miss you dearly. You looked stunning . I cry every day just have to remind my self you aren’t here. I love you so much and thank you for accepting my children and treating me as your own. I miss our long hours worth of conversation together ,laughs, mistakes.. I love how you called me “ sweetie “ whenever you forget my name but I didn’t care , because it was you. I drive by your home almost everyday. You bring me peace I Loved that about you. I’ll never forget what you told me. Your in my heart FOREVER. The girls said hello. And please come and visit me .
