Jeffrey Allen Leising

Jeffrey Allen Leising, 43, of Sugar Land, TX passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the comfort of his own home in Sugar Land, TX. He was born on November 5, 1971 to parents Emma J. Leising and Lawrence J. Leising. He lived in various cities throughout his life, easily making friends and enjoying various sports leagues, including soccer, tennis, swimming, and golf.

He graduated from Bixby High School in 1990. At the age of 19, he was wounded in a motorcycle accident that ultimately left him brain injured. His mother, Emma, nobly cared for him at home for the next 24 years, using various forms of rehabilitation to improve his quality of life. Jeff is survived by his mother Emma Leising, father Larry Leising, step-mother Cathy Leising, brother Mike Leising & sister-in-law Angie Leising, nephew Deven Leising, brother Mark Leising, brother Kenny Leising & sister-in-law Lauren Leising, nephew James Leising, and niece Lizzy Leising.

A Celebration of Life is being held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 6 pm to 8 pm at The Settegast-Kopf Company At Sugar Creek located at 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Laurence Catholic Church at 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77479.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in memory of Jeffrey Leising to Shriners Hospital for Children.
