Born in Stephenville, TX on June 13, 1940 to the late Amos Springer Tomlin and Luddie Loys Tomlin.
In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by his two sisters Charlene Tomlin Gay and Eva LaRue Tomlin Southerland; also his beloved granddaughter Madison Etoile Finger.
Jimmie worked at Texaco as a computer operator for 40+ years. Those who knew him know he loved his cars, and was a true “Gas Head”. Those of us also know how much he loved his music... In fact, Jimmie was known to do a fantastic Elvis impression. Jimmie loved to attend chili cook-offs, crawfish festivals, and the Wurstfest. He absolutely loved his Texans!
Those left to cherish Jimmie’s memory are his daughter Cyndi Tomlin McFarland, and her husband Jeff McFarland. Grandson Zachary Tomlin Finger and his fiancé Haleigh Williams, and many other family and friends.
Jimmie was laid to rest on Friday, January 14, 2022. He will be deeply missed!
