Jonathon Allen Jacobson, 37, of Richmond, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2026. Known lovingly to family and friends as "JJ", he was born on June 13, 1988, in Houston, Texas, to Douglas and Cathy Jacobson.
After graduating high school, Jonathon answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Navy in 2008. He served with dedication and distinction, earning the rank of Petty Officer Second Class before receiving an honorable discharge in 2012 after earning the Joint Service Achievement Medal. His years of military service shaped him into a man of discipline, integrity, and quiet strength.
In March of 2021, Jonathon married the love of his life, Brittany, and together they built a home filled with warmth and devotion. He was a man of remarkable kindness who cherished his family above all else. He held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews, who adored him in return. Whether he was spending a day on the water fishing, heading out for a hunt, or working with his hands on a construction project, Jonathon approached life with enthusiasm and a generous spirit. His passion for the outdoors and his skill in building things reflected a man who found joy in both the natural world and in creating something lasting.
Jonathon is survived by his wife, Brittany; his parents, Douglas and Cathy Jacobson; his brothers, Chris and his wife Crystal, and Patrick; his sister, Maggie; his nieces, Chloe, Halle, and Kaelynn; and his nephews, Landon, Carter, Owen, and Aiden.
Family and friends may find comfort in knowing that Jonathon now rests in the peace and grace of God.
