JOSEPH W. ETTE, JR., was born May 29, 1934, in Keokuk, Iowa, and passed away, December 6, 2015, after a brief illness, in Sugar Land, TX. His parents were Joseph W. and Margaret O’Day Ette, Sr. On October 6, 1956, he married Kay E. Korschgen in Fort Madison, Iowa, and enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Joe served in the US Army for six years and worked thirty nine years for Hubinger Co/Roquette. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Kay; daughters, Debbie Smith of Sugar Land, Texas, and Donna (Gary) Belger of Ocala, Florida; two brothers; four sisters; grandchildren, Taylor and Brent Belger, and Matthew Smith; twin great-granddaughters; two step-granddaughters; and three great step-grandchildren. A family service will be held at a later date at Houston National Cemetery, in Houston, Texas. Donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the St. Jude Hospital or to the Houston Humane Society.
