

Joyce Elizabeth Callahan, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family. As a life-long Lutheran, her faith in Jesus as her Savior gave her strength and hope throughout her life. Now she is with her Savior Jesus until the great day of resurrection.
A longtime resident of Sugar Land, Texas, Joyce was best known for her kindness, resilience, and deep care she showed to those around her. She shared a remarkable 64-year marriage with her beloved husband, Edward Joseph Callahan III, building a life grounded in commitment, partnership, and enduring love.
Joyce was a proud and loving mother to her daughter, Nancy Piazza, and her son, Edward Callahan IV. She found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Elizabeth Callahan, Rebecca Callahan, Edward Callahan V, Christian Piazza, and Nicholas Piazza, each of whom brought light and pride into her life.
She is also remembered fondly by extended family and friends whose lives she touched with her warmth, generosity, and steady presence. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, with whom she now rests in peace.
Joyce’s life was a testament to quiet strength, compassion, devotion to family, and faith in God to bring her through every part of life. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and love her.
