KAREN DAY
Karen Day was an amazing woman and a wonderful friend and neighbor. She and I survived rearing four lively boys and enjoyed many kid-related adventures including fending off possible campsite intruders with marshmallow roasting forks. That may have been the trip when Doug got a live fish stuck in his sneaker. Karen reinvented herself several times as she evolved from a home maker to Blood Center employee (the only one with chicken positive blood) to bankruptcy guru and technical wizard. I know Karen was proud of finally being able to get into and look good in her Wranglers. And she was so proud of her very dear boys, her daughter in law, and her precious granddaughter. I miss her.

I had the privilege of working with Karen for many years. I will always have fond memories of our talks about our families and life. She was always kind and had a big heart and will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. My deepest condolences to her family during this sad time. Rest in Peace.

I've been privileged to work with Karen for many years. She always had a quick laugh and a sweet and gentle outlook.
She loved her kids and we had great talks about our kids and grandkids. I always felt blessed after hearing her sweet voice, and I will miss her greatly. Lorraine

I have had the privilege of working with Karen for 40 years. She has to have been one of the nicest, friendly, loyal people Ive ever known. She loved, ((no worshiped is a better word) her kids. Professionally, she put a young, new insurance agent on the map in the early 80's. I can never have thanked her enough. I never heard her say a unkind work about anyone. The world is a better place having Karen. I am a better person being able to call her my friend. Rest in Peace.
