Kathryn Convery

KATHRYN EARLEY CONVERY, age 86, born July 13, 1924, to Thomas and Honora Eagan Earley, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away, Monday, October 11, 2010. Kay graduated from Immaculata College. She married her husband Jim Convery on April 10, 1948. Jim was in the automobile business and they moved several times ending up in Sugar Land in 1979. Jim and Kay spent the 1970's and 1980's traveling. After Jim's death in 1991, Kay continued traveling. She traveled the world in 1998 with friends, Delores Gwin and Katherine Lee. Kay is survived by her daughters, Kay Pierce and her husband Carl, and Pat Mollere and her husband Kerry; grandchildren, Patrick and Greg Pierce, and Allison and Mitchell Wagoner; and three great-grandchildren. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Setegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 14, 2010, at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, with the Rev. Reginald Samuels, Celebrant.
