Jay was a resident of Rosharon, Texas. From a young age and throughout his life, Jay cherished spending time with family and friends. Family was always his highest priority. He delighted in organizing and planning gatherings, carrying forward holiday traditions, and making every occasion special. A gifted cook, bread maker, and dessert baker, he learned many of his skills from his beloved grandmothers, Joy Jeanes and Bonnie Fleming.
Jay had a natural flair for hosting—whether it was a cozy Sunday brunch or an elegant dinner party. He also had an eye for interior design, a knack for organization, and a talent for creating beautiful and welcoming spaces. He loved trips to the beach, exploring venues in the heart of the city, and spending time in the Texas Hill Country at his father’s ranch.
He leaves behind many cherished memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jay is survived by his parents, Kenneth W. Jeanes Sr. and Vickie Fleming Malinowski; sister, Cara English and family; brother, Kevin English; as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
