

Ken Rose, 79, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. A man of deep faith, strong leadership, and adventurous heart, Ken lived a life devoted to his family, his church, and his community.
Born on June 21, 1946, in Houston, Texas, Ken was the first of four children born to John Henry and Leone Marie Rose. He graduated from Milby High School and went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Houston.
Ken began his career as a Certified Public Accountant before discovering his true calling in dental laboratory management. For 56 years, he served the Houston community as Owner of Rose Dental Labs and Certified Dental Technician, retiring in 2024. His dedication to his craft and the relationships he built throughout his career touched countless lives.
On April 2, 1976, Ken married the love of his life, Janice (Jones) Rose, at First Baptist Church of Arlington, Texas. Together, they built a marriage of 49 years marked by partnership, devotion, and shared adventure.
Ken was a strong and kind family man who cherished every moment with his sons and took immense pride in his grandchildren. He coached Little League, chaperoned countless activities, and never missed an opportunity to support his family.
A man of deep faith, Ken was a longtime member of Sugar Land Baptist Church, where he served and found fellowship. He read his Bible often and lived out his convictions through acts of generosity and grace.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Janice; sons Jeff (Kim), John (Elizabeth), and Michael (Holly); six cherished grandchildren: Will, Abigail, Ben, Wiley, Emma, and Andrew, and his brothers Robert and Leon. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents and brother John Paul.
Memorial services for Kenneth Lee Rose will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Sugar Land Baptist Church, 16755 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77479. Viewing will begin at 9AM followed by a 10AM funeral officiated by Dr. Taylor Sandlin.

Ken’s legacy is one of quiet strength, faithful leadership, and a heart always open to God and family. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
