November 11, 1939 - August 10, 2022
On August 10, 2022, Sean Lalsingh Harribance, a loving husband and father, passed from this
life at the age of 82. Sean was born on November 11, 1939 in southern Trinidad to an East
Indian family. Though raised Hindu, Sean attended Christian schools and converted to
Christianity in his early teens. At the age of 26, he chose to be baptized into the Christian faith
as Sean.
He was determined to astound science while embracing theology, volunteering himself to
extensive laboratory testing for more than six decades, startling people with revelations of
their most intimate stories accurately predicting personal as well as world-impacting events.
Sean Harribance ® discovered at a young age that he had the gift of
accurately predicting future events. In 1965 through a chance encounter,
Sean’s gift piqued the interest of Trinidad Guardian editor and manager
Richard Jackman. Intrigued by the accuracy of Sean’s predictions, Jackman
introduced Sean to psychologist Dr. Hamlyn Dukhan. Over the course of
several years, Dr. Dukhan conducted scientific testing on Sean’s acute
perceptive abilities.
In 1969, Sean was invited to the Foundation for Research on the Nature of Man by Dr. J.B.
Rhine as the subject of further research. While there, Sean worked with Dr. Rhine, Dr. William
G. Roll of the Psychical Research Foundation, in addition to various visiting professors and
researchers. During his time at the Foundation, more than 51 scientific journal articles were
published about Sean’s psychic/cognitive abilities.
In 1970, Sean’s abilities were presented to The American Association for the Advancement of
Science. Sean’s accurate predictions being “by chance” mathematically yielded one in 100
trillion probability score. Sean also received high scores on extrasensory perception (ESP) tests
that used EEG sensors, and was the first to show a link between high ESP scores and increased
alpha brain waves.
In 1976, relocated to Maryland where his cognitive abilities were further researched by both
Mankind Research and Duke University.
Sean has spent his entire life working with scientists and researchers in top clinical settings in an
effort to further the understanding of how the human brain functions especially as it relates to
cognitive "psychic" activity. Deemed “the most outstanding, most amazing psychic in the world
today,” Sean has scored consistently higher than anyone ever tested in numerous, strictly
controlled scientific studies.
It is Sean’s life-long desire to understand and scientifically prove his ability and educate the
public about parapsychology. His lifelong quest has led to the creation of the Sean Harribance
Institute for Parapsychology Research, Inc. – a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Above all else, Sean believed in the importance of family ties. He is survived by his wife,
Christine; his son, Sean Harribance Jr. and daughter, Linnea Harribance Haggerty.
A visitation for Sean will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A funeral service will occur Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
