For all of Lily's family and friends, I pray for ya'll during this difficult time. Lily is a sweetheart and an angel to us all. She is watching over us now as before. When you think of her you can feel her warmth. I am so lucky to know such a special person. Take care.

Ed and Family:
The news of Lily's passing is making its way through the college crowd.  She provided me with some of the best times of my life.  I will always remember her laugh and how happy the two of you were at WIU.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Lily and I became friends on Thompson 16 at Western Illinois Univ. She and Donna lived next door to Judy and I and also on Adams Street.  Those were some of the best times.  I last heard from Lily a couple of years ago at Christmas time.  I am truly saddened by the loss of such a wonderful, fun loving woman.  I know Lily lives on through her children who each reflect a part of their Mother.  My prayers and thoughts are with you Ed and the children at this difficult time.  My deepest sympathy.

I didn't know the family, but I knew Lily from our wonderful BUNCO group years ago. I pray that God's presence will be with you and bring you some peace in knowing that she is in a better place.

 I was deeply saddened to hear of Lily's passing.  Though we hadn't seen each other very often since our Bunco group disbanded, I remember her infectious laughter and her kind and generous spirit.  She was very competitive when it came to winning at Bunco, but she loved the game and visiting with all the ladies.  I always enjoyed the evenings she hosted, what a spread she would have!  She was always a very gracious hostess.  I will miss her and remember her always.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had the pleasure of working with Lily from her first day at Amica. I was in charge of her training and boy did she ask tough questions. She was always immaculately dressed, thanks to Casual Corner. Those secret shopping trips when Ed was out of town were so rewarding. I remember Lily's wonderful laugh, how her neck would get so red when she got nervous or upset, her office pranks, how she would race home to clean the house because it was her turn to host mahjong, how she got so excited when she beat her mom at cards. I remember the secrets shared and the tears cried, the happy moments and the sad ones in our lives. It breaks my heart that she is gone. She was a wonderful person, so kind, giving, thoughtful. I think our favorite saying was "Things are going to get better". Unfortunately, this time, they didn't. I mourn the loss of not only a co-worker but a friend, a dear, dear friend. She will be truly missed, but as long as we hold memories of her, she will never truly be gone.

Lily and I worked in the claim department at Amica for many years.  She had a strong work ethic and always tried to do the right thing. We often talked about our problem claims and our frustrations, she was a great listener and I always felt better after our talk.   
We played softball and although we were the worst team in the league, we had fun and you could always count on Lily to get a hit. 
She was a good friend and co-worker and will be missed.
To Lily's family, may you find comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is at peace.  Her smile lives on in our memories. God bless you all.

To Lily's Dear Family:
I've known Lily since 1982 when she came to work for Amica and was honored to work with her and play softball on the company team where we had more errors than runs scored most games! Lily was quite the slugger. I admired her most for her strength during her illness, she came to work when it was obvious she was not feeling well and still managed to smile and carry out her responsibilities. I will miss her. She touched us all with her grace. You all remain in my thoughts and prayers. Cherish the memories and continue to make her proud through all you do.

We have fond memories of Lily growing up on 97th St. in Chicago, from when she was a little girl to her wedding day.

After she moved away, we enjoyed hearing about her family from her mother, Katica, who is our good friend and neighbor.  Katica is a proud mother and grandmother.

I was fortunate to know Lily for 28 years.  We had many laughs playing on what had to be the worst softball team ever.  Throughout the years we worked together she always had a smile on her face and it was always a pleasure to just stop and chat with her.  Our birthday is only three days apart and it became a joke through the years to wish each other happy birthday and laugh about our advancing years.  I remember seeing Jessica in the hospital when she was born and I know how much she loved and cherished her children.   Throughout her illness Lily was brave, she fought the good fight, finished the race and kept her faith.  She was an amazing woman who will be missed but our memories will keep her close. It was truly an honor to work with Lily for over 15 years. She was a great co-worker and overall lovely person. She will be truly missed by her Amica family. My heart and prayers go to her entire family.  May they find solace in the fact she will always with us in heart and spirit.

the first time i met and saw Lily was in the early 80's when we were sitting in the lobby of Amica waiting for an interview.  I am so greatful to have met and worked with a woman of such strength and courage,  she had such a warm heart, was always smiling.  She will be missed.  GOD has a new angel with him now. Although I did not know Lily for that long, I feel blessed to have known her.  Being the new kid on the block is tough but Lily always made it a point to say hi and ask how it was going; you could not help but to be drawn to her warmth. I will miss hearing her laugh but will know that a little bit of her stays behind in our memories, a little bit of sunshine in our sometimes rainy day!

Lily was a pure soul full of love and light.  I never saw her sad or angry.  She is loved by many and has left us with heavy hearts.  Our love and memories will remain and our broken hearts will mend knowing she is  looking down upon us with great love and concern.  Thank you for touching my life Lily. I was so saddened to learn Lily had passed away. I first met Lily in 1982 when we started at Amica. We became fast friends. Lily was just a newlywed then. I kept up with her through the years after I left Amica. Saw pictures of her beautiful children. Time goes so incredibly fast. I am sure to smile remembering our dancing days at Confetti. 
Lily has left us wonderful memories. One of the most selfless, sweetest people I have ever had the joy to know. I thank God for bringing you in to my life and will truly miss you. To Lily's family; there are no words to mend your heartache, but those of us who care and share your loss wish you comfort and peace. Lily was such a loving, and gentle woman and yet so strong.  I loved her sense of humor and that laugh we all heard throughout the office!  But the thing I will remember most is how PROUD she was of her children and family.  I had never actually met Joshua, Jacob or Jessica, but from all the pictures and stories she's shared, I feel like I have.  She loved them so very much.  I will miss her.

Lily was a wonderful and loving person. She took me under her wing when I started at the Houston office and helped me in numerous ways. We kept in touch when I transferred to Spokane.  She will be deeply missed.  My thoughts are with your family.

I had the privilege to be Lily's friend for over 28 years.  She was a wonderful person who was so genuine and sincere. She always put others needs before her own.  We shared many good times over the years and both had three children during those years. We loved exchanging stories about our kids and she was so very proud of Jessica, Josh and Jacob.  She loved to talk about Josh's baseball and just lit up everytime someone asked her about that. She fought a brave and valiant fight and taught all of us so much about what is important in life. I will always be grateful to have had Lily as a friend. As they say, "God only takes the best of the best" and in Lily's case he definately got the best. Although we are all very sad, I know Lily would want us to think about all the good times instead. She was so strong and positive and I will always admire her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Lily was a sweet, caring and most helpful person that I have ever met.  The Amica Houston Regional Office has truly lost a valuable employee and we have all lost a wonderful co-worker, Lily will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Weber family.

To the Weber Family -

Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting you, however after working with Lily for nearly 5 years I felt like I had. Nothing in the world met more to Lily than her family. She was so proud of you 3 children!

One of the most lasting memories I have of Lily was how excited she was when she spoke of Joshua's baseball accomplishments. Joshua, you can rest assured our entire office knew about your performances the Monday after one of your baseball tournaments! 

Lily and I were probably the only two people in Houston that both loved the Cubs! It was such a pleasure chatting with her about our beloved team during the season; the funny thing is she knew more stats about the team than almost anyone! Most of the time I tried to act like I knew what I was talking about just so that I could chat on her level.

Lily Weber is a beacon of light who left this world way too early. She will be missed dearly! Anyone who knew Lily will find solace in the memories you have made with her.

I've only known you for such a short while but I would like to thank God for giving me a chance to get to know such a beautiful, intelligent, loving, good spirited co worker. I admirred your determination. You have touched so many people in our office. Thank you for the delicious cake you gave me for my birthday!! May God Bless your soul and your family. Lily was a wonderful, loving, giving person and I will miss her so much. It was an honor to have her as a friend. When I worked with her in the Houston office, she made my transition from SC to TX so easy just by being my friend and welcoming me to Houston.
