"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord"
2 Corinthians 5:8
God went before you Loida, and prepared a place for you, a place where there is no sorrow or pain.
We will miss you dearly , but our memories of you will last until we see you again .
I have many fond memories of you . Your hospitality was unsurpassed for sure, and your kindness will always be remembered. You would laugh at my jokes, even when they weren't funny, making me feel loved.
Even though we didn't get to see each other that often, when we did, it felt like we had just spoken the day before.
I will see you in heaven, whenever I get there...much love Jutta

Ms. Loida was always so kind and loving. Whenever I visited Ria at their house in Germany, I remember she was so sweet and greeted me with a warm smile.

Oh Ms. Loida, my heart breaks that your time here has ended and that your loved ones must carry on without your physical presence, but my heart is slightly mended in knowing that you are at peace and no longer suffering. The thing I will most fondly remember of you is how giving you were. It seemed to be nothing to you to share with others. I have a feeling that your spirit will continue to give and share and be a blessing to others. My heartfelt condolences, love, and support go out to Mr. Guico, Noemi, Maria, Katrina, and extended family and friends. ❤

“You were born not only for yourself, but for others.” That is how ate Loida is to me. I met ate Loida in 2002 through our common friends and I get to know her more through our regular MJ sessions. She became my older sister not because of her age but because of the wisdom and experiences she shared with us or just with me. She makes me a better person just by listening to her stories and her being so generous and kind-hearted. I will miss you dearly, ate Loida. If you see me shed tears it is not because of sadness but because of happiness that you are already with God and I thank the Lord for sharing you with us. Thank you for being a true friend and my Ate. Rest in peace ate Loida, you will surely be missed.

Loida, I thank the Lord for our growing up years together, that we grew up like you're my younger sister and not my niece. I'm glad that we've kept up through the years, though never enough. I'm thankful that we were able to visit you last June. That was the best visit ever, one I will always remember. I'm so glad we've kept up after that, too. I love you, Loida! How thankful i am for the family and many memories we shared.
I will try to keep up with the people you love most - Joey, Noemi, Steve, and Zion, Ria, and Katrina. I'll continue to pray for them and encourage them to put their faith in Christ also like you did, for there is no better life than knowing Him. So glad that you are now so happy and peaceful in His presence!! You will surely be missed and always loved!

Every time that my family and I visited her from Thailand, she would always be so hospitable and tender. Ate Loida was always willing to see us and welcome us with her inviting spirit and kind heart. I give praise to God that in her final stage of her life here on this side of eternity, she gave herself to following Jesus Christ and being unashamed of her faith. I am proud to call you my auntie and I will see you soon enough on the other side of the river.

I will miss you dearly ,Ate Loida❤️
We used to have our mahjong session/classes every weekend. We would share stories ,eat & bond.
We also used to watch Broadway shows- the last time was in May - we watched Ms. Saigon with Thelma.
We also went on a cruise with the rest of the gang.
You took care of our Marshy when we went to PI in 2016 , we would face time our baby doggie & I remember you got worried when she had a rash - only to find out that it was a “stress anxiety separation “rash per the Vet.
You were funny , generous & had a big heart.
I know you’re in a much better place, no more suffering.
Rest easy, my dear Ate Loida.
Thank you for all the memories ❤️
