Before Lourdes passed away she requested that if people wanted to donate money that they donate to her caretaker, Ana. Ana is an angel that was sent to my mom. She took unbelievable care of her for almost 1 1/2 years and had the patience of a saint. Ana and my mom had many long conversations about their dreams. Ana's dream is to open a taco stand/truck. My mom said they would be partners and call it "Las Panchas Taco Stand". Pancha was the name they affectionately called each other throughout their time together. Ana on several occasions brought us her breakfast tacos with her signature salsa. After a bite of those tacos, my mom was sold on this partnership. One of her last requests was that I open an account for this venture. So, today I took the first step and opened an account for Las Panchas.
