Martha Mouton Patrick Born June 7, 1943 in Kaplan, LA to Leo and Hilda Mouton. Preceded in death by her parents and only sister, Wandarella Mouton. Martha is survived by her daughter , Kimberly Kay Patrick Lee; her son in law Ronnie Lee and her most precious grandson Cody L Lee and a host of cousins, friends and her aunt and uncle Gene and Mayfield Adams of Kaplan, LA. Martha had no greater love than the love of her life, Cody Lee. She never missed a baseball game or a practice or a dinner or even a chance to just watch him sleep in the last 24 years. She was most proud of Cody graduating college and earning his Bachelors Degree this summer! Martha had so many friends and family that she loved and that adored her too. She had the kindest heart and loved to be the life of the party. Her cousins gave her the nickname “Party Animal” and she lived up to that name so often. When the music started playing, she came alive and she would dance her way into your heart. Martha went to work in 1961 at Bank of the Southwest and has been in banking for 59 years, the last 15 years at Frost Bank where she was adored by so many friends and colleagues. The family suggests in lieu of flowers , donations be made to St Jude's Children Hospital. The Memorial Service will be on Friday November 20, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. Dear Kim, Ronnie and Cody: My deepest condolences in the passing of your mom, mother-in-law, grandmother. Kim - our moms had many a fun night doing the "bump" at Bobby McGee's. Your mom was such a sweetheart even though I think we got on her last nerve back then. Haha! My heart goes out to you all in having to embrace your loss.
Xoxo

Of all the many cousins Charles and through our marriage I had, Martha was the favorite one. Always kind, ready to encourage and with a quick whit, her visits either to Maman Eva’s or later to our home in Houston where fun. Never amiss for words she would entertain us with some of her stories. Her daughter, Kim and her grand-son where the loves of her life. Rest In Peace, Martha, you will always have a special place in our hearts. Charles and Ines

Martha knew me my whole life, and surprised me once when she joined my mother in picking me up from college after my freshman year. The three of us took a little road trip from the University of Montana in Missoula to Salt Lake City, UT, where we all caught a flight home to Houston. I remember being so surprised and happy to see a familiar face in the doorway of my dorm room that Saturday after term, and we had such a fun trip together.

Maybe I shouldn't have been so surprised - Martha had watched me learn how to tumble as a toddler, ride horses as a child, and sing in the school choir. She attended almost as many of my school events as my own parents. She was also part of the group that caught the attention of a school administrator at my high school graduation. "Your entire family just stood up back there," he said, looking over my shoulder as he shook my hand. I could, of course, hear their gleeful cheers behind me. "Yep, that's them," I said as I accepted my diploma. When I finally got a chance to take a look for myself, I could see my mom and Martha waving at me.

I could share about 100 stories of Martha and it would never capture how infectious her laugh was or how abundant her love was. She was a singular and important person in my life, and I will miss her so much.

I love you, Mimi. Rest in peace.

Martha was a great friend and like a part of my family. She loved Norma and our girls so much.
I will miss her but take some comfort in knowing she is at peace and with Norma in heaven.
I will never forget her love, loyalty and hard work.
