Ms. Mary Bata Jimenez

MARY YOLANDA JIMENEZ, age 61, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010. She was born October 21, 1948, in Houston, Texas, to Joe and Maria Socorro Bata. Mary is survived by her son, Sammy Daniel Jimenez; daughters, Jeanie Jimenez and Lorie Jimenez-Mottu; son-in-law, George Henry Mottu; daughter-in-law, Erika Jimenez; and grandchildren, Jesse Daniel Olivas, John David Olivas, II, Selena Maria Olivas-all age 15, Shawnee Jimenez-age 4, Gilbert Jimenez Torres-age 14, Leyla Charisma Mottu-age 8, Clarissa Jimenez-age 12, Aaliyah Jimenez, age 9, Pablo A. Ruiz-age 13, and Abby Jimenez-age 7.

Our adoring mother, how we will miss you!! You are everything in the world to us...But we know you are always watching over us and you will forever be in our hearts........

Mamma's career was for 30+ years at Chase Bank. She adored her family and always put them first in front of everything. She would give her last dollar to her children and to the church. Her faith in Jesus is so strong. She worshiped him and showed us, (her children), the way to live with Jesus Christ every step of the way. We are truly blessed to have, Mary Yolanda Jimenez, as our precious dear mommy.... Thank you Lord for blessing us with a beautiful mother.

Visitation: Wednesday, September 8, 2010, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in the Morrow Chapel of The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478.

Funeral Service: Thursday, September 9, 2010, 11:00 AM, at River Pointe Church, 5000 Ransom Road, Richmond, TX 77469.

Interment: Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 North Main St., Houston, TX 77009.
