Mary furthered her passion for nursing by relocating to Albuquerque, New Mexico with her five children and accepted a position with the United States Government at Sandia Base Hospital where she was granted cue clearance into areas containing atomic warheads, and later received “The Superior Performance Award” from the National Atomic Support Agency. Nursing, her children, and her faith were always Mary’s passion. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo P. Daspit Sr, Nina Taylor Daspit, Warren F. Teepe Jr (son), George Thomas Luckett (husband). She has one surviving sister, Bettye D. Dembs. Mary leaves behind two daughters and two sons, Paula A. White – Gregory A. White (spouse), Marti M. Mary will forever live on in our hearts.

The family would like to recognize and give thanks to her private 24/7 caregivers –Hannah, Eme, Vittoria, Frandia, Yetti, and Leola. Also special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Inspired Living Of Sugar Land for the kindness and care provided to Mary. Inspired Living Of Sugar Land is led by Mario Gutierrez, who has compassion and love for the residents he watches over. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to: The Alzheimer’s Association

I am very grateful to God for giving me the opportunity of being one of our gorgeous Mama Bear's caregivers; as we used to call her. Mama was always gracious, grateful, jovial and it's never a dull moment with her. Even in her last moment she managed to smile at our silly jokes; you are one of a kind Mama bear. I pray for God to protect and strengthen your family. We will surely miss you Mama bear. I love you, we all love you, everybody loves you; Mama bear but God loves you more. Say Hi to my Mother!

Mary, a sweet soul, a compassionate and amazing woman. She passed these traits on to her daughters. She will forever be remembered. I will miss seeing her playful updates but know that she is singing with the angels and in the arms of our heavenly Father looking down on her family, smiling.
