Mary Ellen Thomas

Mary was born November 13, 1945 in Miami, Florida to Edward and Lily Sinai.

Mary was an active member of the Lutheran Church, many bowling leagues, and even the HOA of her neighborhood.

She had many interests in hobbies, which included creative outlets such as ceramics, painting, sewing, knitting and crochet. Mary loved movies as well, especially anything Action or Sci-Fi horror. Traveling to the beach or snowy mountain destinations always brought her joy. Mary also absolutely lived for her grandchildren. She was Xander's own personal toy! He would always look for a reason to play with his "Ammie".

Mary is survived by her daughter Rebecca Peery (Jason Peery); her grandchildren Adrienne, Joshua, and Alexander Peery and her great granddaughter Juliette Peery.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Jack Thomas; her father and mother Edward and Lily Sinai; her sister Nancy Ann McCarty; and her grandson Roman Jackson Ogrodowicz.

A celebration of life for Mary will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at The Settegast-Kopf Company @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478.

The family would like to give special thanks to her grandchildren - all four babies kept her young. She loved watching each one of you grow up so wonderfully.
