The Ashes of Mary Ward have come into my possession by default.
They were at a storage facility that was being auctioned.
I simply could not throw away the remains of loved individual.
I decided to investigate on the internet and came across this obit.
What a beautiful person Mary must have been.

I have know Jimmy, Mary since the early 1970's and Jon since he was a baby.  I have been very fortunate to have spent time with Mary and Jimmy while they were in Indonesia and enjoyed many fun times.  Also while they were in California, but most of all was the fun on business trips, lunches, dinners, bars etc.  Mary was always the life of the function no matter what is was.  She always laughed a lot and enjoyed everything in life.  She was a very dear friend and I will always miss her and remember her for being so much alive.

Growing up, Mary was like an older sister when we were hanging out. She (along with you guys) was my favorite Cousin!  She could make us all laugh with her stories and almost got us kicked out of many an eating establishment laughing so hard!  She will be missed beyond words.  You guys are the real reason we moved to Houston and Jan and I hope that we can all stay close for many more years to come!

Dear Jimmy and Jon,

I was so sad to hear of Mary's passing. She lives on in my memory as a very special friend, a great story-teller, quick to laugh, especially at herself and her spontaneous malapropisms. She was also a first-rate real estate professional who really came through for us more than once. There really was something about Mary. We will miss her dearly.

What can I say about Mary.  I loved her.  From the moment we met at a parent's party, while Jon and Aaron were at a 6th grade dance. She told me a story of the large lizard in the kitchen of her friend's house in Indonesia.  That was the beginning of many tales of Mary's adventures. Never have I met a person who was so full of life and laughter.  She lives in my heart.  Gordon and I will be putting leis in the ocean during the time her life will be celebrated in Texas.  Thinking of both of you.
