

MOLLY THERESA DUBIEL, 84, a retired industrial nurse who served in a variety of lay ministries at St. Laurence Catholic Church, went to be with her Lord Jesus on July 30, 2015. She lived in Sugar Land, TX.
Born in Buffalo, NY, Mrs. Dubiel (nee Wichrowski) graduated from Mount Mercy Academy High School and received her registered nursing degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
In 1955, she married Louis Stanley Dubiel. They settled in Williamsville, New York, where they raised their family and became faithful parishioners at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She worked for General Motors and Calspan Corporation.
Mrs. Dubiel retired and moved to the Houston area in 1987. In retirement she dedicated time to helping a food bank for the needy and enjoyed her family – particularly her nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Dubiel was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Stanley Dubiel; and her daughter, Judith Ann Dubiel. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia A. Marut and her husband Stephen of Richmond, TX, son, David A. Dubiel and his wife Laurie of The Woodlands, TX; grandchildren, Hannah and Leah Marut, and Chad, Kyle and his wife Natalie, Tyler, Zachary, Anne Therese, Joshua, and Caleb Dubiel; sister-in-law, Rose Marie Dubiel of Chicago, IL; and brother-in-law, Paul John Dubiel of Buffalo, NY.
Mrs. Dubiel skillfully and sacrificially served her Lord and her family. She was a special gift to all who knew her. Her smile, her devotion to family and faith, and her constant care will be remembered always. While we will miss her fervent earthly prayers and intercessions, we know that she will continue to lift up everyone she knew in prayers from heaven.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 21, 2015, at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, with the Rev. Drew Wood, officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow at 1:00 PM, at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston.
