OBITUARY

Nancee Stock Bell

May 31, 1945May 15, 2019

Nancee Stock Bell passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on May 15, 2019 in Houston, Texas. Nancee was born on May 31, 1945 in Canton, Ohio to Kenneth and Dorothy Stock. She is preceded in death by both parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Stock of Wimberley, Texas, sister Barbara Bennett, and brother Kenny Stock. Nancee is survived by her husband, Tommy Bell, her sister Connie Cheshire and brother-in-law George Cheshire, her children Shannon Yates and Courtney Robertson, and son-in-laws Jason Yates and Mike Robertson, her five grandchildren Ryan, Blake, Lauren, Sarah, and Cole and her great-granddaughter Gracelynn. There was nothing that made Nancee happier than her role as a devoted Nan to her grandchildren. She attended Stephen F. Austin University. In 1967, she married the love of her life Tommy Bell, who worked in the oil and gas industry. Nancee was a devoted stay at home mom while she and Tommy traveled the world with their daughters, living in Scotland, England, Norway, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia, but always considered their home the Houston area. Nancee loved to play cards, was an avid reader, and loved spending time with her family and friends. The family will honor Nancee’s life with a small private celebration. We have such fond memories of times we enjoyed with Nancee and Tommy. Because we had daughters that were very good friends, we came to know and love the whole Bell family. We shared many, many laughs and good times over the years. Nancee was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sorely missed. Thank God for memories. May she rest in peace.
