Nancy Ann McCarty

Born in San Antonio on September 26, 1952, to Edward Julius Sinai and Lily Viola Stein Sinai, she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio and from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Business. She worked as a computer system analyst. She and her husband attended Bay Area Presbyterian Church in Webster.

Nancy was a beautiful person, loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Clay Johnson McCarty, long-time resident of Granbury and 1977 graduate of Granbury High School. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Thomas of Missouri City; niece Laura Meinson (husband Chris) of Austin; and niece Becky Peery (husband Jason, sons Roman and Xander) of Missouri City.

She is also mourned by her mother-in-law Flora McCarty; brother-in-law Charles T. McCarty, Jr. (wife Lynne); and sister-in-law Mary Bearman, all of Granbury. Nephew and niece Jonathan and Victoria McCarty live in Manchester, MD.

The family will receive visitors at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek Funeral Directors, Sunday, March 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek Funeral Directors, Monday, March 20 at 10 a.m. Burial: Granbury Cemetery at 5 p.m.
