Nelleta Hopson, age 89, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026.
Born on September 2, 1937, in Llano, Texas, Nelleta lived a life centered on family, faith, and love. She was known for her strength, kindness, and devotion to those she cherished. Her warm heart and caring spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Nelleta is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Hopson and daughter Sheryl Schuldt. Nelleta is survived by her grandchildren, Blake, Tyler, Justin, and Cody; her great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Presleigh, Levi, and CJ; her loving son, Craig Hopson, along with many other family members and friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
Funeral services will be held on October 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Settegast-Kopf Funeral Directors, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas. A reception will immediately follow the service. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Nelleta's legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
