Nina Marie Sugarek

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nina Sugarek, a beloved mother, sister, and aunt who will be greatly missed and remembered forever. Nina was born on November 19, 1944, and passed on September 20, 2026, at the age of 81. She lived in Sugar Land, Texas, and is survived by her two children, Ric and Robbie, and her sister, Robyn. Nina is remembered by many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

Nina was a dedicated nurse for many years before transitioning and thriving in the automotive industry. Later in life, she enjoyed extensive travel throughout the US and thoroughly loved experiencing new states in all seasons. She enjoyed animals deeply and loved many pets throughout her lifetime. She had an incredible wit and enjoyed trivia and numerous skill games, and shared this with friends within her retirement community. Nina touched many lives with her kindness, warmth, humor, and dedication to friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM in the Event Center at The Settegast-Kopf Co at Sugar Creek.
