

Born in Beloit, Wisconsin, to Luther and Beatrice Fisher, she is survived by her husband, Roger McWaters of Missouri City, TX; daughters, Michelle Smith and her husband Brad of Flower Mound, TX, and Sabrina McWaters and Chris Kutac of Sugar Land, TX; brother, Ron Fisher of Eustis, FL; and six grandchildren, Austin, Alexis, and Aidan Smith, Jordan McWaters, and Brandi and Brittney Crenshaw.
Pat fought heroically against breast cancer, inspiring many with her positive attitude and life of service. More recently, besides to family and friends, she devoted herself to church choir and women's ministries, the Anderson Network of volunteers, and especially Second Mile Mission Center. Because of this, she received a Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2006. Standing besides Air Force One at Ellington Field, George Bush gave her a medal, a hug and the encouraging words, "thank you for your courage."

Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 11, 2011, 11:00 AM, at Sugar Creek Baptist Church, 13333 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX.
