Bill and I were friends with Duane and Trish long ago and are so sad for the family. She was a wonderful friend and her dad was my favorite professor at A&M. Once we all started having kids, we just lost contact. We are so sorry for the family. I will always remember our fun times at A&M.

I have only known Melissa for a brief time through our professions, but we spoke often of Trish and she was obviously a wonderful, loving, mother and wife who was greatly loved by her daughter and family. My prayers are with the entire family in this time of sadness.

It is with sadness that I write this. Ms. Piper was always happy and cheerful and a pleasure to take care of her during her time at Memorial Hermann. She will be missed by many and I am blessed to have known her, cared for her, and the laughs we shared.

It was truly a blessing getting to know Mrs Piper and her family. I speak for many of my coworkers when I say that she was a joy to take care of and she touched so many of us, myself included, in a way that we'll never forget. There is so much of my career that will be forever changed by what I got to learn and experience with Mrs Piper and her extraordinary family. Please know that her family here at memorial TMC are so grateful to have had the privilege of knowing you all, and all our prayers are with you

To the Piper and Blackhurst family,
We're so grateful that we got to be with Patricia and family recently at the last family weddings. She was a beautiful young woman and we truly enjoyed our time with her. We grew up with the Blackhurst family and what a wonderful time it was and a great family to be a part of.
May God's everlasting Peace be with you all.
Much love,
