To a great friend, mentor and second father to me. Ramiro Rodriguez, up until you passed and went to heaven, you probably never knew the amount of influence that you had in this world. Your laugh, your smile and your kindness will remain to linger throughout this world for decades. Thank you for always being a great friend, a great father to Greg and Rob, great husband to Gracy and great grandfather to all of your grandchildren.
I'll always love you "MIJO"!

My deepest condolences to the family for your loss of such a wonderful man! I have known Ramiro since 2004 when I was looking for someone in the insurance industry. He immediately caught my attention with his friendliness, outgoing character and eagerness to help! He was such a wonderful person always willing to talk as if you were the most important person at the moment. He never made me feel like he was too busy to talk or answer questions. I felt as if he was part of the family!
I hope you find comfort in knowing Ramiro was able to make a positive mark on humanity in so many ways! He will be sorely missed by me and many, many others! May your hearts be filled with all the great memories you have of him!

My deepest condolences go to all of Ramiros family and to my aunt Gracie. Him and Gracie were truly the greatest power couple and I hope to one day to find a love like they have. Ramiro and Gracie played a huge part in raising me to be the person I am today. I am forever grateful to have had him in my life. It is because of him that I will always try and fix something in my house first before even considering hiring a contractor! He will forever be a part of my life and I will miss him. Thankful to my aunt Gracie for finding happiness with him and bringing him into our family!
Rest In Peace.

He was my brother and my best friend. We talked every day on the phone. We worked on so many projects together, laughing and having a good time even as our muscles grew sore from a hard day's work. There are memories of him everywhere around me, from things we built to tools he gave me and the stories associated with them. We never said no to each other's request for help, no matter how crazy the project was. His was a life well lived and I will miss him every day.

Ramiro was such a nice man. I only remember him smiling. He made the best jalapeño poppers. He shared with me his recipe and now every time I make them I will think of him and his kindness. Such a kind, friendly man. Prayers for his family.

This was my Uncle, the best one anybody could ask for. Always had a smile on his face and what a smile it was. Uncle Miro was one of a kind. Remember playing any kind of sport in Grandma and Grandpa Rodriguez’s small back yard growing up. I spent some time in the hospital a couple years ago and he would come visit and tell me stories about his youth growing up in El Campo. He was a jack of all trades, you could always count on having a good time when he was there. He dressed up as Santa the past couple years and to see the smiles on the kids faces as well as the enjoyment he had while doing it was priceless. Uncle Ramiro you will be missed by so many as you touched so many people as well. Tell Grandma and Grandpa Rodriguez hi and Greg as well. Love you so much. You were the best uncle anybody could ask for.

I have known Ramiro since we were in high school as we were good friends and we ran around together. Little did I know at that time that he would become my brother-in-law. For the past 51 years that I have been in Ramiro's family, I have considered him more of a brother than a brother-in-law. I will always cherish the many stories that he shared when we gathered together and the memories of the fun times we had. I miss him dearly and will forever be grateful to have had Ramiro in my life. Rest in peace Ramiro and may the angels surround you and may you find ever loving peace in God's kingdom. Until we meet again, know that you will always and forever been in our hearts. Victor

The passing of my brother, Ramiro, has left such a void in our family and we are not only devastated but heartbroken. Our life will not be the same without my dear brother who was always smiling and happy to to see all of his family members. We miss him tremendously already. While he will be missed dearly we will continue to have our family gatherings as that is what he would want us to do. He is now with his son Greg and our parents and other family members and we pray that he is now resting and in peace surrounded by God's love. Rest in Peace my dear brother; until we meet again. Love you always and you will always be in my heart.

Ramiro was a wonderful and friendly man. We could always tell how much he loved Gracie and how he lit up whenever she entered the room. We have always felt we were part of Ramiro and Gracie’s extended family and whenever we attended their family get togethers he always made us feel welcome and went out of his way to spend time catching up with us. Our hearts are heavy with sadness at his loss and our prayers go out to Gracie and their family.

Gracie & Rob...
We will continue to pray that each day to come brings peace to your hearts. I’m so sorry this ended up being the outcome, but I was so very blessed to see the zoom calls you both made and the strong faith you had to keep him fighting everyday. Many of my coworkers said “wow they must love him alot”.... my response, “you have no idea!” He will be so very missed. We love you all -

My family has known the Rodriguez family for thirty years, we are friends and neighbors. Ramiro was an astounding person. I am fortunate to have had many"mail box" conversations with him. I would see him outside while retrieving the mail, and we would begin to talk about our health, the history of our neighborhood, and our children. We would laugh, and on one occasion we cried while talking about Gregg. I already miss seeing him outside, and waiving hello. He will truly be missed by many. Gracie, Rob, and the Rodriguez family, I pray God gives you comfort, peace, and strength to endure the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. God's blessings to you all!!

As a friend and co-worker of Gracie's and seeing Ramiro often at the bank, the most memorable thought that comes to me is when Ramiro would bring Gracie flowers for various occasions, he was so sweet and so proud but what touched me most, she'd always walk him out and they'd be holding hands, I would look in admiration . I ask God to please send Angels far and near to surround you, Rob and family with peace and comfort during this extremely difficult time. Love you Gracie. Christine.

Our deepest condolences to Ramiros’s wife Gracie and the rest of his family. Even though it is Gracie who is my cousin, I consider Ramiro my cousin also. For years he was my guide when I made major financial decisions. He was a kind and ethical person who deeply loved his family. His passing is a great loss to all those around him.

Where to even begin. We sure love you Ramiro. Your love for my kids was and is a treasure. Loving so far away from our own extended family is hard and it sure is nice to be adopted by such an awesome family like yours. You were always there with a big hug, warm smile and a word of Encouragement. You were always there to play with the kids. I’m so glad my last memory with you was playing kickball at the lake house and Jamie stepping in dog poop. Hahaha My kids loved you like a Paw Paw. We will try to get Kaycee into this family permanently but that might be hard since she thinks of Cole and Zach as brothers. Hehe. We love you Ramiro and all the Rodreguez family

What a blessing Ramiro was in our lives, and how deeply he will be missed. Ramiro always made everyone feel welcome, and always had a huge grin on his face! He had such a large love for life, and helped everyone he was around. Our kids are his older grandkids’ ages so we were lucky enough to benefit from his kindness and big heart all throughout their childhoods. Ramiro was so actively involved with his grandkids’ every game, event, get together, school function, neighborhood activity, (& more!) Thank you Rob & Jamie for sharing him with our family. Thank you Ramiro for the love you always showed. Thank you for being there with kind words and a gentle heart. Our love to all Ramiro’s family, we are so sorry for your loss. Love, Tom, Sarah, Kyla, & David Black

Our dear sweet Ramiro, even though weve only known each other for 4yrs. We saw him practically everyday. He was the mayor. If I was walking my dogs he would walk with me. if I was cleaning out the gutters, he would go get his ladder and help me. If my car wouldnt start at the grocery store, he was there in minutes to help. He would let our dogs out at a .minutes notice when we got stuck at work. So many kind acts. And that was him. He would help anyone. One of the kindest ,sweetest human being we know. Rest in peace our dear dear friend. We love you and miss your smiling face everyday. Bob and Rachel Bierman

Ramiro was a long time friend of mine and my husband's. Gracie and Ramiro attended many of the same family functions as we did as we shared grandchildren. Ramiro and I shared lots of conversations. He was a wonderful self made man. A man of great integrity. He was a man you could trust. His reputation went before Him. He will be greatly missed .My prayers are with Gracie and the family.
