Renée Cadario, 87, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026. Born on July 26, 1939, in Arlington, Massachusetts, Renée was the daughter of Alice (née St. George) and Charles Cadario. She was a longtime resident of Woburn, Massachusetts, and later Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, before moving to Sugar Land, Texas, where she resided in her final years.
Renée graduated from Arlington High School in 1957, where she was active in the Girls' Athletic Association, The Chronicle newspaper, and the Girls' Glee Club. Following graduation, she built a successful career as a secretary in the Boston area and later retired from the aerospace and defense company, Raytheon Co., after many years of dedicated service.
Renée loved the outdoors and embraced an active lifestyle throughout her life. She enjoyed running, biking, skiing, and birding. Among her favorite activities were walks through nature preserves in South Florida, autumn hikes in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and scenic drives along the Kancamagus Highway when the fall foliage was at its peak. Those Florida and New England landscapes always held a special place in her heart.
Needlepoint was her favorite pastime and a creative outlet she enjoyed for many years. Renée lovingly crafted beautiful pieces featuring cats, birds, or flowers in rich, vibrant colors. Many of her works were framed and displayed throughout her home, bringing joy to family and visitors alike.
Renée will be remembered for her independence, her appreciation of nature and beauty, and the care she showed for her niece, Kim Burley, and nephew, Todd Kastarlak. She found happiness in simple pleasures, whether exploring the outdoors, creating something beautiful with her hands, or baking a dessert for family gatherings.
Renée is survived by her brother, Charles ("Buster") Cadario. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sisters, Jean Kastarlak and Dorothy Jones.
