Scott Okey Honefenger, 83, passed away on July 12, 2026, after a short illness. He was born on November 27, 1942. A resident of Sugar Land, Texas, Scott will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection.
For the last 45 years, Scott was a businessman in Houston, a steady presence known for the diligence he brought to his work and the care he extended to those around him. His life reflected a quiet devotion—shown in the commitments he kept, and the responsibilities he shouldered.
Scott also embraced life beyond work with genuine enthusiasm. He found joy in the outdoors through hunting and fishing, and he held a special love for golf. An adventurous spirit guided him as well, especially in the time he treasured traveling with his wife, Julie, as together they made several trips around the world.
Scott’s legacy is one of steadfast effort, generous kindness, and devoted love—qualities that will be remembered and honored by all who knew him.
