Scott Andrew McHugh

Scott was born on January 18, 1970 in Boston, Massachusetts. His family moved to Missouri City in 1976. Other than a short stay in Ann Arbor, Michigan when they were 11, they grew up in the Missouri City area. Scott started playing baseball as a young boy. He played baseball in High school for Dulles High School. Scott went to Texas A&M and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in 1993.

Scott began his accounting career working as a staff accountant with Coastal. In 1995 he passed the CPA exam. Scott was a hardworking and dedicated employee for every company he worked for. He took great pride in his work. Scott did not have very many hobbies, but when the weather was nice he wanted to ride his bike all over our neighborhoods.

Scott is predeceased by his father, Thomas McHugh. He is survived by his wife, Julia Marie McHugh, son Dustin James McHugh, daughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth McHugh, grandchildren Caden James McHugh & Avery Amelia McHugh, his mother Lois McHugh, twin brother Paul McHugh & wife Jennifer, along with many other family and friends.

The family will be greeting friends and relatives starting at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home at 15015 SW Freeway, Sugarland Texas 77478. A Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Settergast-Kopf Funeral Home.
