Scott was a great friend and mentor. His great attitude and care for others was an inspiration to me. So many great memories with Scott and Stacy traveling all over the world and experiencing new places and meeting new friends that it would difficult to recount all those memories but I will cherish them forever.
Scott was a leader in the underground storage industry and his impact and influence on the industry will be felt for years to come. I am very proud to have learned and worked with Scott over the years.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Stacy and all the family.

Stacie and family, it was with great sadness that I heard of Scott’s passing.
I work with Scott since the UGS regulated by PHMSA. We had good times talking about the Premier League and Champions League games when we travel on PHMSA inspections which is not a common conversation in this country.
Please accept my condolences and prayer for the comfort and healing for you and your family.

Scott was as genuine and caring of a person as you will ever meet. I met him through a best friend of mine, Andrew, who also happened to be in son-in-law. Scott, Stacie, and Gregory were visiting Los Angeles, where I happened to live at the time, and invited me to join them. Even though I had only met them once before, the entire family was so welcoming to me and took me with them to watch a volleyball tournament. Scott and I spoke about our experiences at UT and we formed and a bond was formed instantly. I am so grateful to know Scott and the entire Rouze family. One last legacy of Scott is that he referred to hummus as baby poop. The first time I changed my daughter's diaper, I immediately thought of Scott.

We are so sad to hear of the passing of Scott. Our deepest sympathies to Stacie and the family. I knew Scott for many years when we both worked in Storage Operations and Development at Spectra Energy/Enbridge. Carolyn and I have many fond memories of Scott and Stacie through our participation in the Solution Mining Research Institute (SMRI). I remember Scott and Stacie very much liked traveling to Germany and Carolyn and I were lucky enough to be there with them on occasion during SMRI meetings in Europe. We had many good times together at receptions and dinners during the meetings. I will never forget seeing Scott and Stacie in their Lederhosen and Dirndl while they were in Germany.

I met Scott at UT in 1979, when I didn’t know anyone at all. I was a freshman, 200 miles from home, on my own for the first time ever. Scott reached out and made me his friend, and for that I will always be grateful. Over the years, we laughed, made music and were in each other’s weddings. The twists and turns of life (mine) led us to lose touch, but our friendship was always in my heart. I will only remember great times with my good friend. Rest In Peace, brother, until we meet again soon in Heaven. I love you.

Scott and his family were long time friends and neighbors with my in-laws, but I mainly knew Scott as he came to see me yearly for his eye appointments. It was always a delight for me and my staff. He was gracious, funny, and a pleasure to connect with and be with. He had a bright light in him, and this is what we'll remember and know to be him. My deepest condolences to his entire family.
