devoted mother and loved ones in Richmond, Texas on October 9, 2020 at the age of 45.
Tammy was born on November 22, 1974 in Houston to Richard C. Russell and Jane Henson
Russell.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Carter and Elizabeth Kerbow Henson.
Tammy is survived by her parents, sister Lisa Russell Roper and husband Boyce, sister Debbie
Russell, nephews Bobby and wife Haleigh Roper, Matthew and Andrew Roper, aunt Betty Ann
Henson Jackson and cousins Dean, Randy, Tommi and Max Jackson and numerous other
loving family members.
Tammy graduated from Stratford High School in 1993 and continued her education at Baylor
University in Waco, Texas where she earned her degree in Business Administration in ’98. Tammy
began working in advertising for Western Lithograph and became part of the management team
where she was moved to Nashville, TN and Sacramento, CA to continue company growth.
Once back in Houston, she was sought after by Adcetera, where she worked diligently until 2008
when she was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer. Her grace and steadfast devotion to her health
and the leadership team at MD Anderson brought her to remission. Tammy had a stroke in 2015 as
well as most recently in October which led to her disability. Now our precious girl is healed with the
hands of her Lord, Jesus Christ.
A memorial will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek in Sugarland, Texas with a reception to follow. A graveside service will take place afterwards at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations made in Tammy’s honor to MD Anderson Brain
