Timothy Charles Whitten

Timothy Charles Whitten age 51, of Sugar Land , TX , passed away on May 28,2026. Timothy was born January 15,1975 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, to Tommy Glyn Whitten and Mary Lou Whitten. He was the youngest of 3 siblings.

As a young child he lived in Minnesota and several other places before ending up in Sugar Land, TX with his beloved grandparents Catherine and Anderson Batson. Timothy graduated from I.H. Kempner High School in Sugar Land,TX, in 1993, He then went on to attend college at Texas State Technical College in Waco, TX. After earning a degree he went on to work for River Oaks Baptist School in Houston, TX in 1998 and worked there for 25 years. In the last two years of his life he was working for Fort Bend ISD.

Timothy enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family. He also enjoyed cooking and traveling and technology . Tim never married or had children but he led a full and active life. He was always there to help his friends and family in any way he could. He was a christian whose faith was evident in the way he lived his life always taking care of others.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Glyn Whitten, his mother, Mary Lou Whitten, his brother Glyn Thomas Whitten, and his sister Teresa. He was also preceded in death by his loving grandparents, James Anderson Batson and Catherine Batson. As well as his uncle, Tim C. Whitten, and his wife, Sammie Whitten. He is also preceded in death by numerous other family and friends who have passed away over the years.

Timothy is survived by his cousin, Alison Saenz and her husband Charlie Saenz Jr. and their children. He is also survived by other relatives and numerous friends who were like family to him.
