Vernon L. Needham

Vernon L. Needham, a compassionate, devoted, and generous soul, passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on March 21, 1953, in Houston, Texas, Vernon was a gentle and hard-working man known for his honesty, kindness, and thoughtfulness.

Vernon was a proud graduate of Jones High School, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with family, love, and dedication. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cindy Needham, with whom he shared 39 wonderful years of marriage, and his mother, Doris Clapp. Vernon is survived by his son, Brian Needham, who was the light of his life.

As a family man, Vernon cherished the time spent with his loved ones. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed playing golf, especially with his son Brian. Vernon also found joy in coaching Brian's baseball teams and was known for his love of animals, particularly his dogs and cats.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm at The Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek, located at 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478. A catered reception will follow at The Event Center at the same address, beginning at 3:00 pm.

Vernon's kind-hearted nature and thoughtful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
