William English Reeves

William (Bill) English Reeves, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and son, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, at the age of 80. He was a man of quiet strength, profound integrity, and deep faith—a true hero to his family.

Bill shared 47 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Lana. Together, they built a life rooted in love, security, and shared devotion. Bill was a steady, quiet pillar for everyone around him, always ready to support his family and friends without ever asking for recognition.

A proud Texas A&M Aggie and an avid fan of the Houston Astros, Bill brought loyalty and enthusiasm to everything he loved. He found immense joy in God’s simple blessings, spending peaceful hours tending to his garden, caring for his vibrant plumerias, and enjoying the companionship of his beloved dogs.

Above all, Bill was a man of quiet, powerful prayer. Every day, he paused to give thanks to the Lord, living out his faith through his actions, humility, and love for his family. His legacy of kindness and steadfast devotion will be carried forward forever by those who loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lana; his devoted children, Kelly Ann Parker, Larry Wayne Parker Jr., and Sheryl Annette O’Nan and Jason Roud O’Nan; his cherished grandchildren, Cory Wayne Parker, Brittany Elaine Parker alongside David Stranathan, Benjamin Reeves O’Nan, Jackson Thomas O’Nan, and William Robert O’Nan; and his beloved great-grandchildren, Elijah Wayne Stranathan and Adam Lee Stranathan.

He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert Paul Reeves and Jane Burns Reeves; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul Shambra and Helen Mary Zito; and his beloved niece and her family, Alaina Marie Rodrigue, Mack Calvin Rodrigue, Mackie Calvin Rodrigue, and Madeline Elaine Rodrigue.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Peterson Reeves and Eileen English Reeves.

A service to celebrate Bill’s life and faith will be held on August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at The Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek, located at 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s memory to the Fort Bend Animal Shelter.
