

ZACHARY RAYBOURN, age 23, of Missouri City, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit).
He is survived by his parents, Peter and Sally; his maternal grandmother, Alberta; his 96 year old paternal grandfather, Bill and his wife Nancy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends, as well as his two beloved dogs Bruno and Clyde.
Zack was an avid reader having have read over 350 books in one summer. He was a competitively chess player and a friend to many. In recent months he had taken up the challenge to learn Chinese and could speak and understand it. He was an excellent writer who wrote beautifully and he was currently writing two books. He enjoyed country music while also being an outstanding chef who made an award winning peach cobbler.
He loved his grandparents very much and he looked forward to seeing his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends but it was difficult to see them all because of the distance. He was deeply loved, and will be sorely missed leaving an enormous void in many people’s lives.
