Alcide "Kent" Fuselier, 68, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. He was born to his late parents, Dalvas and Jeanette Fuselier on July 6, 1958 in Reddell, Louisiana. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher, that enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Sulphur Tors.
He is survived by his sons, Dal Fuselier (Jamelah) of Sulphur, Devin Fuselier (Hallie) of Lake Charles; daughter, Kristen Fuselier of Sulphur; the mother of his children, Becky Fuselier of Sulphur; three sisters, Carol Clark Finley (Dale) of Sulphur, Vicky Fuselier of Lake Charles, and Sheila Fuselier Hudson of Sulphur; along with five grandchildren, Ellie Kate Fuselier, Emily Fuselier, William Fuselier, Claire Fuselier, and Etienne Fuselier.
Kent is preceded in death by his parents; along with his sister, Coco Carpenter.
A Celebration of Kent's life will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 11:00 am, led by Hixson Celebrant Jody Espinosa. Visitation will be at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be at Sallier Cemetery in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
