

He was a lifelong resident of Sulphur, who worked most of his life as a carpenter. Alfa’s passion in life was spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, working in his yard and watching and raising birds.
He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Vincent, Cathy Smith and husband Bryan, and Gay Lynn Sheehan, all of Sulphur; grandchildren, Trisha Monceaux, Corey Burnworth, Jamie Marshall, Chance Burnworth and Sean Cody Clouthier; and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Wayne, Rodney and Greg Vincent; and one sister, Diana Stelley.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cleve Vincent and Ruth Garrett Vincent; his son, Alfa “Rocky” Vincent Jr.; sisters, Mary Manuel and Patsy O’Quain; grandson, Russell Burnworth Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Gracie Marshall.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
