Alton Joseph Pago

He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Alton worked as a welder for many years in local industries. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and taking care of his horses. Alton truly loved his family and cherished his time with each of them, especially the children.

Survivors include his wife of 77 years, Gladys Bertrand Pago of Sulphur; his children, Bruce Pago and wife, Ruth of Sulphur, Sandy Perkins and husband, Mark of Orange, Texas, and Kim Pago of Sulphur; his brother, T.J. Pago of Sulphur; seventeen grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; and thirty-six great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Filogene and Paula Pago; his daughters, Brenda Robinson and Carolyn "Connie" Jacobs; and his siblings, Mary Chaisson, Sybil LeDoux, Hammy Joseph Pago, Sr., Vernon James "Buddy" Pago, and Eugene Pago.
