Amy was a native of Big Woods and was a longtime resident of Sulphur, coming from DeQuincy. She was a member of Houston River Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with friends.
Survivors include her cousins, Dwight & Thelma Foster, Kathy Walker, and Charles Robertson.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 26, in Houston River Baptist Church. The Rev. Lonnie Gothrup will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation is from noon to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the church.
