Angela embraced life with a spirited, spontaneous nature, meeting each day with a sense of possibility and a readiness for the moment. She loved deeply and lived fully, and those who knew her will remember the warmth of her presence, the unmistakable signature of her red hair, and her impeccable fashion—always put together, always herself. In her own way, Angela carried a “Peter Pan” spirit, never quite willing to surrender to the idea of growing old.
She found joy in simple pleasures and shared experiences: traveling, cooking, and tending to her landscaping and flower beds with care and pride. Angela also enjoyed time at casinos, but above all, she treasured being with family and with her beloved husband, Todd Single.
Those left to cherish her memory are, her husband, Todd Single; her sisters, Brenda Miller (Ronald) and Sandra Fruge; her brothers, Darrell Fruge (Annette), Milton Fruge (Brenda), and Randy Fruge (Michelle); her godchildren, Kyle Fruge, Erin Hall and Jamie Woolwine; her nieces and nephews, Ronnie Jr., Sherry, Rechelle, Tracie, Damon, Valarie, Shaun & Jamie; and her longtime best friend and sister of the heart, Candi Hartley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elta Fruge, and her godchild, Crystal Fruge.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m to 12 noon on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
Angela’s memory will be carried forward by all who loved her—through shared stories, familiar places, and the enduring imprint of a life lived with heart and unmistakable style. Memories, words of comfort and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.hixsonsulphur.com.
