Born on March 22, 1934, in Colfax, Louisiana, Angie lived a life rooted in her strong Catholic faith and her deep devotion to those she loved. Above all else, her greatest joy was her family. Raising her five children was one of her proudest blessings, and the love she poured into them continued to grow through generations of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Angie found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She was a talented quilter, a devoted gardener, and a wonderful baker, especially known for her famous homemade blueberry pies. She loved tending to her garden, picking fresh pears and blueberries, and sharing the fruits of her labor with those around her. These simple traditions, lovingly carried out over the years, became treasured memories for her family.
Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. A devoted Catholic, Angie lived with a deep love for God and family, leaving behind an example of faith, strength, and devotion for generations to follow.
Survivors include her children, David Dronette and wife, Connie of Sulphur, Mary Arnold of Sulphur, John Dronette and wife, Cindy of Fort Worth, Texas, Lisa Amini and husband, Sean of Boston, Massachusetts, and Laura Campbell and husband, Doug of Spring Branch, Texas; her brother, Robert Thompson of Colfax; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren, each a cherished part of her beautiful family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ethridge Joseph "E.J." Dronette; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Thompson, Sr.; her brother, Monsignor Henry Thompson, Jr.; and her son-in-law, John Arnold.

Her hands created beautiful things, her heart made a loving home, and her life was a blessing to all who knew her.
She will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her beloved childhood church restoration fund at St. Joseph's Church in Colfax, Louisiana.
