He had many dogs throughout his life and the last was his beloved “Puppie”. He never met a stranger and was very friendly and outgoing. He also loved to share his stories with all of his friends.
Bert and Linda were married once in the eyes of the Lord on May 10th, 2011 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sulphur, LA where they were both members. His faith in the Lord was sure and he was thankful for the love of God in Jesus. He was tired and ready to go and be with the Lord even as he looked forward to his Resurrection on the last day. The living Lord who began the good work of faith in his heart brought it to completion as he brought Bert home to be with Him.
