Beryl L. Broussard

Beryl L. Broussard, 81, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026. She was born to her late parents, Minos and Louise Broussard on January 16, 1945 in Abbeville, Louisiana. Beryl enjoyed reading and playing Bingo and Pokeno. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Beryl was a parishioner at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church and truly loved her church family.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Johnny Pierre Broussard; son, John "Patrick" Broussard (Angela) of Sulphur; daughter, Amy Domingue (Boobie) of Carlyss; sister, Connie Landry of Lafayette; son-in-law, Kirk Cryer; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Beryl is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Stacie Lynn Broussard Cryer; two brothers, Paul "Piggy" Broussard and Purvis "Buddy" Broussard; along with two sisters, Yvonne B. Hebert and Azelie "Ruth" Broussard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry, Louisiana on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 1:00 pm, with Father Arvind Minz, H.G.N. officiating. Visitation will be at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church Hall on Thursday, beginning at 10:30 am, with a Rosary at 12:00 pm, and the Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm at the church. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Carlyss, Louisiana.
