Betty Cryer, age 86, resident of Westlake, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024 with her daughter Tammie by her side. Betty was born on February 19, 1938 in Lake Charles to Henry Allen Hennigan and Gladys Verna Bass Hennigan whom have proceeded her in death along with her husband of 40+ years, Finers B Cryer, II.
Betty was a well known and amazing artist! She was a member of First Baptist Church in Westlake and Parkview Baptist in Sulphur.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Ella Louise Kent, Tammie Laine Kent, Harold Dale Kent, Rhonda Gail Chargois and her husband, Von, and Tyler Bronson Kent and his wife, Cheri; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce Wright and her late husband James T Wright, Jr.
Betty's wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest at a later date with her sister in Rockhill, South Carolina.
